Local Foreclosure Orders

I entered that Order in all existing cases in our district. (Dean won’t be in to process them until
next week). After doing 6-7 of them, I added an additional line at the bottom – If the Committee
now has a conflict on that date, please just send a Motion for Advice suggesting a new date or a
request for a colleague to cover the day of sale only.
Also, I noticed when entering the Orders that a lot of Committees don’t have appearances in on
April 25 and early May sales yet. You are allowed to put an appearance in prior to the bar date,
and putting one in makes sure you get notices of activities in the cases prior to the bar date (like
these statewide orders, or motions to open, etc). Committee should put appearances in as soon
as they get the notice of appointment because it also lets us know that they got the notice!
